So I thought, to get this blog going with a bang, I’d answer some frequently asked questions about traveling to New York. Then again, why reinvent the wheel? You know what’s the biggest problem with the internet? Anything and everything you can think of doing, or writing about, has already been done, and it’s probably bigger and better than what you can do. So what I’m going to do is list the top 5 questions about traveling to and visiting New York, and their answers from Yahoo! Answers.
1. How much spending money do I need for a trip to New York City?

2. I have three days to visit New York City. What places shouldn’t I miss?
Ans: The Empire State Center. This complex also house Tump Tower. Famous Central Park. Rockefeller Center with a huge ice skating rink. During Christmas, they lined it up with a lot of christmas trees. Fao and Schwartz. Unfortunately, that store with big,big toys is closed. Statue of Liberty. You have to go there by ferry., which is a nice ride. You could also use this ferry to go to Staten Island. Times Square where they drop the ball every New Year’s Eve. 3. I’m going to New York in two weeks. Any suggestions so it won’t be obvious that I’m a tourist?
Ans: DON’T:
- Wear ANY NY memorablia, unless it’s a hat for the yankees or shoes with NY on it.
- Expect a taxi to come for the first time, and don’t ask people to flag it down for you.
- Go to the OBVIOUS tourist sites, and it’s okay to walk around….
- Wander around at night unless you absolutely know where you’re going
- Mention the TV show I love New York
DO:
- Visit Little Italy
- Climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty
- Watch a lot of movies
